How to improve my wireless(with vodafone)

    I was wondering how, at home, I can increase the radius of my wireless signal(even through walls) and make it better for 2-3 people to use.

    Its only MAX 3mb connection with vodafone in my area and my router is the standard Netopia one that eircom gave us when we first got broadband.

    Are there any better router boxes that can improve the signal throughout?
    Where can I get these routers for the cheapest cost...etc?

    Need to fix this because I need my good signal for PS3 while keeping next door neighbour tenant happy. We are on opposite sides of a big house.
