Reclaiming mis-sold PPI

I listen to a Uk radio station and for the past several months there has been an advert on it about reclaiming mis-sold PPI plan.
I feel that I might have a case and so googled, to find a service like this here in Ireland. I stumbled upon 2 websites (1) http://paymentprotectioninsurance.ie/ and (2) http://www.financeclaims.ie/ as you can see, both different wesite names and layout but both have the same number. Would this be a scam?
Does this sort of claim exist in Ireland?

I suppose the first question is how do you feel you were missold the product in the first instance?

There are cases of it being refunded but not too often. The UK were a bit looser on the selling of PPI products and their regulations would not be simply transferable over to this jurisdiction.

If you feel you were missold PPI you should speak to the financial institution involved and make a complaint outlining how you feel you were missold the policy and requesting a refund. You will need to show a case as to how you were missold it and let the institution investigate.

The fast majority of uk policies had been put in place without the customer signing any forms.

In Ireland these policies had been signed for, now that's not to say they had not been mis sold however the customer signed for it.
