    Hi,

Quick and easy way to make few Euros within 3-4 weeks ...

    - More u have, more u can make ... Ill give my example based on € 10,000.

    1. Exchange Euros for Polish Currency at ~ €1 = 4.500 or nearest

    - 4.500 for Polish Currency is very Low so 100% will go down in couple of weeks, based on my calculations not more than 5 weeks.

    2. Wait for the time when Polish PLN vs € Euro will be around €1= 4.000 or Less ( Less better ) and Buy the Euro Currency Again.

    - Long story short :

€10000 = PLN 45000 ( we have PLN at the moment in our pockets )

    after 5 weeks....

    PLN 45000 / 4.000 ( Currency Status PLN vs Euro ) = € 11250

Easy in 4-5 weeks U can make 10% of ur input.

Note: This is for information only.
Note: Any question let me know ... PM

The Zloty has been getting weaker against the euro for the last year, in a steady trend.

What makes you think it's going to reverse?

    1 year chart

Who would have thought eh..... the more you have the more you can make....

By contrast the more you have the more you can lose too....no??????

Most people look at % returns but thanks for your simplistic view on life

Guys, if u dont want to do it, no problem. Up for Yourself. Just make quick note in Ur diary to check the Currency in 4-5 weeks time and come back to me with answer.

PS. So Guys, come back to me in 5 weeks and tell me if i was wrong. Ive already invested €21k when PLN was 4.518.

    Thanks and Regards

    1 Euro = 4.4951336 Polish zloty as of 9/1/12

    Using googles rough exchange rate.

Will bump this thread in a months time.

Wouldn't you be charged a lot to exchange in the first place?

I do hope it works out for you, but i'm just wondering why you think it's going to turn that much in 4/5 weeks?

    Heh,... Many things

    1. Look at Greece ?! Funny
    2. People start talking about breaking EU Currency, for what - who will get the benefit ?!
    3. PLN currency means a lot for other countries in EU (import/export)
    4. Polish government has stock of for example KGHM where they export most of theirs goods - now they export more for less. ?!

And so on and so on ...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,470 ✭✭✭Mr_Roger_Bongos

Greece has been going on for the past 18months, in all that time the PLN has been getting weaker.

Again, talk of eurozone breakup has been going on for 6 months.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21 Wtech

eurozone will not breakup because country's has no business in that situation... Everybody will lose something, so if nobody can be a winner in this game this game can't not be played - simple ( my English is not great )

I agree with you - Hungary have a huge problems - the biggest is hungarians got mortgages at CHF - HUF/CHF from cca 160 up to 260 last...

but have a look to this historical charts: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?t=5y&s=EURPLN%3DX&l=on&z=l&q=l&c=EURHUF%3DX
You see so EUR/HUF and EUR/PLN going the same direction, but nobody can predict tomorrow.

I personally don't trading EUR/HUF or EUR/PLN. Trading only major pairs and take a profit quickly. First at all if you predicting PLN below 4.0, there is something one way up at the moment.

Also have a look for EUR/USD chart from 2000 - until today: http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=EURUSD%3DX+Interactive#chart1:symbol=eurusd=x;range=5y;indicator=volume;charttype=line;crosshair=on;ohlcvalues=0;logscale=off;source=undefined

US problems - interest rates down(banks borrow money cheap) - all world currencies interest rates down, so it need to go back, or by your opinion what will be push back JPY, AUD, NZD which have theirs max, in last months, years with USD but also with EUR???

Because there is a currency war, and investors simply avoiding EUR and USD also, see Gold, JPY, AUD.....

The PLN was at last seen at 4.00 in August. I'm with Mr Rodgers on this one why do you think it's going to pull back in 4/5 weeks what took 5/6month to build. That said it's far from impossible - Fear will always bring the price back quicker, but you have to see there are major support points at 4.40 4.30 and 4.18 that you will have to break to get near the 4.00 mark.

I'll gladly sit on the fence and watch this one risk free!

That more or less equals to gains on S&P500 for the same period. Good, but nothing to brag about.

    45,000.00 PLN =10,633.56 EUR

Sigh! Fair play looks like a good call. 6% return in little over two weeks. How much of this profit would be taken up by bank charges for exchanging as a point of interest?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,470 ✭✭✭Mr_Roger_Bongos

    Well done!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21 Wtech

Bank wont take anything for it. Bank will be happy that u keep ur money there for 1 month or so. They make much using ur €10k than u can think :)

    Guys, this is still ongoing.

Anybody looking for ideas or people that wants to know a little bit about Forex and trading can PM any time. Im here on regular bases... Would also help in analyses if they interesting.

Wtech, is it trendlines that you use to get your signals?
Just looking at the EURPLN chart now, broke a major trendline on 20Dec, then re-tested the line on the 06Jan and failed, then you posted on the following trading day the 09Jan to sell EURPLN.
    Am I right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21 Wtech

Trend lines are not everything. Hear to whats happening ... based on what ur saying u never make money ( or only on various stock/forex )

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21 Wtech

Guys, by right today is the Due date on this.

    Currency is : PLN 4.17 = €1

Polish currency did not hit the 4.00 line yet but according to analyses i have done it will sooner than later. So making the long story short real profit based on 4 weeks would be €791 using €10k.
Note: Of course somebody (even myself) could say i can make more money and much quicker using diff options. Yes, but this was only exercise to show people that with no loss they can make few euros.

    Thanks

A difference of 0.3358712 on the euro. Does anyone have any example exchange rate costs to and from the zloty?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 328 ✭✭Soulja boy

With AIB it seems they have a maximum exhange fee of around 25 euro. fifty total both ways.

Good Job OP, I wasn't going to risk it but it seems there was a profit to be made.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7 Alfa_D

Well done. Obviously ppl are dubious about any deals. Up to them if they want to go for it or not.

Well it depends on what you mean here because AIB could be saying the commission is 25 euro but what exchange rate are they using? I doubt very much they use the spot rate which is the rate you'll see on the EURPLN chart. AIB (and other banks) will quote you a higher rate and pocket the difference - so expect probably an extra 2 or 3% charge.

I use Interactive Brokers for trading and they convert at the spot rate and I usually pay around €2. But obviously everyone can't do this.

I'm not sure if you're saying you didn't use trendlines or not.. You don't have to answer - it's your thread.. Just curious if i was right :)
    Maybe it was a coincidence..

Went to sign up but didn't have the opening deposit at the time, platform looks sharp.

Probably goin off topic here.. but I'll just quickly say, they can't be beaten on price. it's the lowest around. They wouldnt have alot of bells and whistles that some other brokers would have. All their energy is put into the execution side. If you want to open a new thread about it i can go into more detail.
