Went out on a new piece of property myself and a buddy just got permission to hunt on . The land owner is having problems with pigs destroying the ground so were trying to reduce the number of pigs for him . Being our first time on the land we mostly were doing some scouting for some likely spots and looking for game trails , anyway didn't get any pig but did see plenty of sign , took some pictures to show the damage they can do . Also found any interesting piece way down a canyon near a small stream , it's whats left of a nice four point buck . On a more disturbing note we also found signs of an illegal marijuana growing operation which is becoming more common here . IMG_0974.JPG

No sign of any rattlers , they are there but they usually try to avoid you and will move away when they know your around . When we get a pig or two I'll post some pictures .

Went out by myself early Saturday morning to check for pig . Didn't get any but on the way back to my buddy's place one of the neighbors stopped me on the road and asked would I help recover a pig he had shot , I said O.K. and we set off down a really steep canyon to get it . Anyway after about a hours dragging and carrying we got it up to a place where we could load it on his truck. here's a couple of pics .
