Hey can someone explain to me why you can only view one terrestrial Channel while recording a programme with this box. You can view the Satellite channels alright but in this day in age I find it incredibly ridiculous that you cant watch other terrestrial channels while recording one terrestrial channel. I could record channels before on my vcr while watching another channel even with the tv powered off. Anyway around this?

Buy a box more tuners in it or with properly written software.

    There are 2 tuners in the Triax, 1 x dvb-t and 1 dvb-s2.

The software for Triax is short written. With other boxes you can record and watch terrestrial on the same Mux with even one tuner through properly written software.

Because it'd not a twin tuner box.

This is a mad notion here but would the following ever work:

Is there anyway of adding a tuner to it? For example put a compatable pc tv tuner into the box via usb connection? I'm thinking no.

Could you put a usb hub into the triax box that would support the additional pc tuner and portable harddrive? I'm thinking no again.

Pick up an additional triax tuner box and put it on top of the box I have now?

Buy a dvd recorder with an in built tuner?

Mad ideas but anything to get it going without replacing box where possible.
