Hey guys, I've been listening to a lot of sub bass music lately, I guess what you'd classify as UK Bass. Could anyone suggest any artists that might be worth a listen? I've been listening to Joy O, Boddika, Scuba, Blawan etc

I've been listening to a lot of sub bass music lately, I guess what you'd classify as UK Bass.

Could anyone suggest any artists that might be worth a listen? I've been listening to Joy O, Boddika, Scuba, Blawan etc

As for names, maybe try George FitzGerald, Instra:Mental, Zed Bias, Jacques Greene, Floating Points, Zomby , Karenn, West Norwood Casette Library, Pangaea, 2562, A Made Up Sound, Martyn, Dexter, DJ Rum, Gerry Read, Youndewan, James Fox, Kowton, Lorca, Lando Kal, Objekt and probably a gazillion more too.

Although I do feel compelled to remind our younger viewers that strictly speaking "UK Bass" isn't really the right word for any of this stuff, not least because Cutlass Supreme was calling his experiments with blending Ghettotech with Jungle basslines "UK Bass" more than 12 years ago!
