Any shops that would take an instrument for cash?

    Hi folks,

    hope someone can help me here. I am just wondering if there is any shops that would take your gear for cash? I know X music will only do store credit but looking for hard cash., thanks

    Musicmaker certainly buy 2nd hand guitar for cash. They ask for ID from the seller as well so it´s nice and safe for everyone involved.

    Your best bet might be to put it on adverts with an attractive price, you'll still probably get more than you would for a trade in at a shop. You could try a pawn shop too if you need the cash.

    I think sound gear do trade ins for cash but Id agree that adverts would be the way to go.
