How to get PS2 bios

    Hi,
    as above says how do i get my bios off my ps2 for an emulator?

    My Ps2 turns on but wont play any discs-think the laser if fecked in it.

    Does it involve having to mo the thing?

    BIOS images are copyright protected, thats why they don't come bundled in with emulators. Linking to them would be against the rules

    Im aware that linking to roms etc are against the rules.

    Im asking how to get the bios off my own PS2?If thats against rules feel free to lock the thread EnterNow.

    How to dump your own bios? No idea, I'd imagine it involves some fairly serious soldering abilities & a nand read/write tool of some sorts. There may be programmes you can use to dump it if your PS2 is chipped or softmodded, but none that I'm aware of.

    It'd be easier to just buy a replacement laser unit & repair your PS2
