We want to set up a wedding website as a lot of people will be travelling to Spain for it and are starting to ask us about various aspects. Obviously we'll have the obvious, location of church/reception/date/accommodation&transport options. We also want to put suggested trips/our favourite places in the area, that kind of thing.
Which are the best free ones? I've googled and can't really seem to tell the difference but some of them are very limited for what's free and you don't really find out until you sign up.

We're currently creating one for ourselves and I've found www.mywedding.com very easy to use. To add a map I've used www.weddingmapper.com

If you are a user/registered on Weddingsonline.ie then they give you a free wedding website for you to use.

We used google sites and my very lovely fiance did the design and all that stuff. They have templates but it's very American and some of the heading are really lame and you can't delete them. Himself did a custom design and also designed an RSVP form so we get emails direct to my gmail account from people attending/not attending. Tis all very handy.

We also have a lot of people coming from overseas, otherwise I can't see why you'd really need one. Although, I guess it depends on the kind of wedding you are having.

We have one because it allows us to give people more information about accommodation, directions and all that stuff than an information card in an invitation would hold. Most people are online these days so it makes things easier for people.

We went for the mywedding.com one in the end. You can use as many or as few of the page titles and add a few of your own. The only thing that annoyed my fiance is that you can't upload your own background. The only thing that annoyed me was that the date was showing up American style, so I just selected 'no date' and wrote it out instead. Getting good feedback so far!
