Internal Mic not working

    I have a Sony Vaoi laptop. Was on Skype and everything was fine until my mic stopped working suddenly. I restarted the computer, checked the mic settings. It is enabled and not on mute. That's about as far as my knowledge goes.

    Any ideas?

    Make sure that in Skype Tools>Options>Audio Settings the correct one is being used, quite a common fault of Skype defaulting to Stero Mix or some other irrelevant one

    There's only one mic connected with my Skype so thats not the problem. And I went to the Sound Recorder to check if my mic worked there and it doesn't either.

    False alarm! It just came back working there all on its own :)

    Sorry for the panic, got a little homesick for my mammy :o
