amber light problem

hi, i just bought backlights for my car from america, the problem i have discovered is that the bulbs which should be amber are clear, i cant just buy amber bulbs for it as the have a different connection (flat not rounded). i have walked all of town trying to find them. do they not do this kind in ireland is there anywhere i can get them?:mad:

You can also get paint for bulbs that will paint them amber.i no from my younger boy racer days ha ha lol.ah no seriously what type of car mayb u could post a pic of the bulb and I might no what it is

Have you tried to fit and connect the lights to your car?

There are a lot of differences between the US and European MK1 focus.
