I was there a couple of years ago and it was rubbish, a complete waste of time. We found the clothes to be of poor quality in some of the shops, almost as if they dumped what they didn't want from main retail shops in the larger towns to Banbridge

Whether it has improve since, I couldn't tell you.

There's better shopping to be had in Belfast or some of the shopping centers on the outskirts.

belfast has several outdoor shops and I was there in the summer but did not notice much of a price difference.
debenhams is Newry used to sell craighoppers and good deals were guaranteed come sale time.

It all depends on what you're looking for. I have been there several times and it's always freezing cold so wrap up well if you are going. I found a lot of the stuff was quite expensive and not current fashion either. M&S was probably the only place I actually bought anything. You would be better off going to Lisburn or Craigavon (Rushmere) as there are more shops and better value.
    :)

If you are looking for outdoor gear, have you tried the Jack Murphy outlet in Balbriggan? a bit pricey but might be worth a look. I got a lovely warm padded jacket there a few years ago and I still have it. Kept me nice and snug on many a hill walk.
