Was just reading about the Egyptian election victory and the implications it has for the people of Gaza and Israels blockade of Gaza, looks like the Rafah crossing and all the border will open and Egypt will no longer support the imprisonment and sanctions, goods will flow, no more need for tunnels, smuggling and finally the people of Gaza may have some form of normality.
This is a great day for the poor people of Gaza.

'Islamist success in Egypt puts Israel in peril'
Hamas's Haniyeh tells 'Independent' that Egypt will no longer support blockade, IDF military operations in Gaza.
The success of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egyptian parliamentary elections and the Islamist party's pending inclusion in the government is a victory for the Palestinians and puts Israel's security situation in peril, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said in an interview with The Independent published on Saturday.

While US State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland said Thursday that the Muslim Brotherhood had given Washington assurances that it would honor Egypt's peace treaty with Israel, Haniyeh said that Cairo would no longer close its border with Gaza to help Israel blockade the territory, nor would it support any Israeli military operations in the Strip.

Israel facing unprecedented security situation, Egypt won't allow another Gaza war, Islamist group's leader tells Britain's The Independent

Yes, Gaza is now good as free.

Nice to see this issue solved 100% once and for all with no further complications.

Israel IMO should wait and see what happens and if aggression comes from Islamist terrorists, then they should react in the best way possible.

Israel should stop being the terrorist and if it doesnt the Islamist's should react in the worst way possible, hows that?

They've already caused enough suffering to the Palestinians, slaughtering men, women and children, and if they start it again I think Egypt should stand up to the mark and use its military might to defend the Palestinians, Israel may be a little less quick to slaughter Gaza now wouldn't you say.

Finally the tables are turning on Israel, maybe a taste of their own medicine is overdue.
I'm not advocating phosphorous on Israeli citizens, but would certainly like to see the zionist regime burn in hell.

Consequences: Muslim Brotherhood floods into Gaza from Egypt --> MB stirs the pot in Gaza --> Israel gets annoyed --> Israel invades Gaza and closes Egyptian border crossings --> new Israeli occupation of Gaza begins --> Israeli-Egyptian relations deteriorate.

Israel gets its ass kicked like it did by Hezbollah, runs like it did from Hezbollah, Gaza free...

The MB will be in control of one of the strongest armies in africa and middle east, things aint looking good for Israel lately, maybe their bullying days are over or they'll have to turn to the Samson Option.

You honestly think that the Egyptian army scares the Israeli army? I think the Egyptian army learned not to mess with Israel in the 60s/70s. Israel has one of the largest military budgets in the region, has the most technologically advanced army in the region and posses between 75 and 400 nuclear weapons. Israel isn't scared of Egypt in the slightest. Egypt's glory days ended with Nasser.

stuar, your tone is completely juvenile in this thread, akin to a kid playing with his toy soldiers. This isn't a game.

I was going to reply properly to you but then saw your countless obsessive threads (with the same childish tone I might add) on Israel in the CT forum and realised you are one of THOSE posters, and thought there is no point.

Back to the CT forum for you and get thanked to your hearts content.
