Looking for extremely cheap bike. If cant find a cheap one will resort to bike auctions. Not looking for anything newish or good just a cheap working bike that i will be able to use for commuting.

    Price range: €0-100

I've a 1987 Raleigh Zentz 501 frame, good wheels & tires and the gears working well.
It's 23inch, but I'm looking for €130 for it, but will accept good offers.

He says in the advert it only needs gear and brake cables, (Not brake pads) cost about 8-10 euro or so for 2 brake and 2 gear cables. You could do it yourself if you check youtube on how to replace the cables.

But you'll probably need to change the housing. (some shops will give it to you for free or cheap enough)

    Aye, what he said!

I'm actually selling it for a mate, I haven't really had a look at it but I'm sure I could get it up and running for <€12!

All that it needs is a tune up, you'd probably even get away with leaving the current cables in but I wouldn't recommend it. I'll give it a once over and get back to you!
