My neighbour bought this tv based on my reccomendation from bargain alerts. I was setting it up for him. The default channel for Irish saorview stations is 401, 402 etc. so you can't just press "1" or "2" on the remote. I couldn't figure out if/how this could be changed.

Does anybody have the same tv? any help? I have the older model of this tv and it worked fine, with 1 being rte 1 etc. on saorview.

Have to go over and try fix it now so any help appreciated!

There's a button on the top row of the remote that switches between ATV and DTV (Saorview) That's the simplest way I've found of changing between the channels on this set.

I bought one of these at Christmas and it's a great TV for the money ! The USB playback is very handy !

If you switch it to DTV then when you press one on the remote does rte 1 come up?

EDIT: yeah usb playback is very handy, although do you ever have problems with syncing sound and video? sometimes half an hour into something I'll have to stop it and resume in order to re sync. I have the older model (LD450) so maybe it's improved in the version! Definetly great value tv's though!

EDIT 2: retuned the tv and untick the "autmomatic numbering" box... Worked fine... now 1 is rte 1, 2 rte 2 etc. all digital... just like mine.. when that box was ticked it was 807 for rte1 digital which was ridiculous!
