unlocking an Xperia Play

    Looks like I'm picking up an Xperia Play but its locked to Vodafone and I'm on Meteor.
    Can I unlock this myself, what am I looking at getting it Sim unlocked online or in a shop? The guy selling it reckons I can easily get it unlocked but I got stung before.
