    Hi guys, I just read this article about Kerry man Sean Marshall, I never knew much about him but his, is an incredible story.

    In the article he says 7 other players have done so (hit 9 darters) in competition.

    Just out of interest, can anyone tell me who the other players are?
    and when?
    I know there was one in the Tipperary Open last year sometime but the chap's name is gone from me.
    How many of you here have done so even out of competition?

    James broederick in Kerry 2 weeks after seans

    Connie finnan done 1 in the INDO event.

    Kieran lennon waterford bout 3 yrs ago

    John burke (hazy on the details of this one)

    magoo done 1 in the dutch pdc event

    Seans own 9 darter.

    Im sure iv forgotten an easy 1

    I don't think one has been done in an actual competetive game in the league though Neil mate,

    You're right Wayne, they weren't hit in an actual league game. Only competitive 9 darters should count

    Ste Andrews and Gary Gregory have hit them too and i would say Billy mattews and Mick Kane have aswell if your going by out of competition

    He never said that, I am sure there has been lots more than above if practice is included sure most in the league hit them regular while practicing alone :)

    JESUS lads come on has any one seen these 9 darters from the borough league or are they just dreamers tom the machine was meant to be in a pub fair play but you would barely see any of the others hitting a 180 never mind a 9 darter lol:D:D:D

    the best iv seen in my ten years or so playing darts in the borough league was lar bryan hitting a ten darter againts the gallops last year .

    Eugene "dudger" Byrne did one in a game in the Rush league. think it was in 95 or so

    13 year old Conor Heneghan hit one in Mayo recently. Not competitive but still a huge achievement by any standards never mind for a 13 year old. Heard of a fair few being hit in practice etc... but none competitive bar the ones that are already known.
