Ireland ESL team training details

Just a reminder to all involved in the ESL nations championship:

We will have a training day tomorrow from 12pm - 12am.
You don't need to be there for all of it, but if you could pm me on skype/battlenet/email me at some point throughout the day, I'll have a chat with you about it.
I'll organise another one for during the week sometime too, but assume we'll have something next Saturday too.

The details of the tournament still haven't changed, but ESL admin have been really lazy with the rules, etc and there is still not much info available. Most of the knowledge is hearsay on their forum, and people are using old WC3 tournament rules to predict this year's. I'll try and answer questions as best I can, but I'm sorry if I can't answer everything!

Also, when you're online, idle in the chatchannel "sc2ie". You can turn autojoin chat channels on in your options, so you always join it when online :D

    Skype: mcclurgoman
    email: mcclurgoman@hotmail.com (also my realID)
    bnet: NIgsCluEleSs#788
    twitter: @CluEleSs_UK

    Any problems, post here.

EDIT: Also, they're talking about reverting the 10player limit thing again, so if you still want to get involved, contact me and we'll get sorted.

it s great that Ireland participates in this,

do you have the dates of the games? (as in which day of the week?)

I might be able to help with admining/contacting the other teams if you want (but I can only do it during week days sry ;( )

By all means, anybody who wants to practice, just join the channel sc2ie on bnet.

They haven't given us any dates yet -.- the organisation from ESL is questionable, but I'll keep y'all posted.

yeah it s always been messy.

Anyways, I think it d be nice to have a little hype about the Irish team and may be a little recognition.

So I d like to write something on MYM (I m MYM head SC2 editor). But I m not sure yet what type of news I will write.

May be a little interview with some pics of the previous Dublin LANs (so if anyone has any pictures, or even after Feb 18th, please send em).

    What do you think?

I do not like to cover IEM tournaments and the like, because it s basically every website having the same content(unless I m attending the event). Covering this competition can be interesting, if I try to get all the underdogs, so as to have original material

I'm all for it, perhaps we could get someone with journalism skills to write up a decent article, or at least make it look proffessional.

Unfortunately, since moving into my new apartment I don't have an internet connection capable of playing SC2 at a decent level. Please add me to inactive on the ESL Roster.

Did Clueless stream these games NighT? Can't find them on his twitch account.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 98 ✭✭NighTxX

    www.livestream.com/stevezspotlive

This has the first game of the night on it, me vs whoever i was playing - However after the first game the guy asked for no obs or even streamers in the game. I don't know why, he just ignored me anytime i asked if a streamer could join. So unfortunately the streams went down after this single game :(

    GJ on the win NighT.

Such a pity about the group, another group might have had a few more oppurtunities.

When is the game vs the UK?
