Cheap DS?

    Does anyone know where I can pick up a cheap DS, preferabbly lite? I've tried adverts, but some of the ones on there are riddiculously over priced, anyone know anywhere cheap?

    Go for a phat. the lite is still worth 50 quid or so on trade in against a 3ds so no one will sell for less than that. A Phat and 75p will get you a funny look and a cup of filter coffee at best.

    Are phats really dark, or the same as the GBA sp? Haven't used one for years and years now.

    Good thing about the phat DS is that the GBA carts fit flush and don't stick out like with the Lite.
    That said the phat is crappy compared to the Lite

    Didn't the phat ds have a better d pad too. I love the lite but I wish they made the d-pad a little bigger. As for the original poster, maybe go ask them in shops about 2nd hand ones. My brother bought me a refurbished one in game but don't have a clue what it cost.

    i had a look round town today, and I saw

    Cex - 75
    HMV - 80 with 10% staff discount, It'd be 72
    Game - 80
    Gamestop - 80

    Just seems a bit excessive.
