    Can anyone recommend good western TV shows ?

    I've seen all current episodes of Hell on Wheels and just finished Deadwood a few weeks back. Are there any other decent western series ?

    Hmm, there aren't many at all these days.

    Justified is as close as you'll get I think, it's more of a modern day western, in that the lead wears a similar hat, and by sheer coincidence it has the same lead as Deadwood.

    Well worth a watch actually, it's a great show.

    Also, you could watch Firefly which is kind of a SciFi western.

    Firefly looks interesting, I do like a bit of SciFi. I'll give Justified a try before I dismiss it but I'm not sure it will be my bag at all.

    I'd settle for something decent from any early/pre modern period really.

    Yeah seen all current episodes, pretty good show. Think episode 9 is airing Sunday. Should be a good un.

    I remember it being on, seen a few episodes I think. Yeah might look that up all right, I remember thinking it was good.

    Brisco County, Jr. A Western / sci-fi / steam-punk series set back in an outlandish version of the Old West. It only got one season but it's very enjoyable.
