    Hi,
Can someone tell me how much it costs to resit an exam if you fail it in the January Exams?

    Thanks

Try to pass first, there will always be time for dealing with repeats if you need them later, but it is a little bit premature to start worrying about this already?

€60 per exam, unless you need to do four, then it's capped at €240.

As above. There's also a E100 late fee if you register for them after a certain date.

Yep, you have about 2 weeks to register for repeats after you get your official results in the summer, in case you want to appeal/view scripts etc.

So if I were to require to repeat where/how would I register?

You get a form with your results in June which you send into the exams office listing which modules you want to repeat.

It wouldn't be right to name and shame, but I know more then one person who panics about the repeats long before they sit the exam in January.

Wait till you see the results, until then, there's no benefit to panicking or worrying about them

Lads I failed accounting in last yr last semester but I passed by compensation. If I were to redo the exam would I have to pay the lasts fee as I'm in 2nd year.

Also can I repeat an exam were I didn't fail or necessary didn't do to well.

You can only repeat an exam for a better mark in the final year of your degree. With regards repeating an exam you failed last year, I really doubt it can be done. There are always exceptions though so ask your department.
