I don't think the make is available here. Whats my best way of getting it or something as near as possible to it. It's the paint colour on the Hall Wall in "Modern Family" and I know getting it slightly wrong will be terrible.

    Thanks

I dont know the programme; could you email whoever made the programme and ask them for help with it?

Is this the one? The paint is colour is Benjamin Moore’s Labrador Blue but i don't think it's available to buy in Ireland. I'd print off a photo and bring it into MRCB in Cornmarket, Dublin 8. They should be able to advise you of a similar paint on the Irish Market. living-room-into-hall-611x343.jpg

Yeh MRCB are good for matching up colours.

Another place would be Stillorgan Decor, or try your local paint store and see if they can match it.

Hi. You can color match the colour with a system called RAL which is an international code of colour accepted all over the world. The way it works is that you give the code and the paint suppler can call it up off a better known database than dulux or crown. The second advantage of using this system is that it has limited colours which don't confuse you- it's either an a or b choice and you get what you choose - as opposed to the gargantuan task of colour matching the infinite colour codes of mainstream colour charts.

I have used the colour matching service in MRCB and it is a hit and miss affair and I would consider this paint shop to be the best in the city. They do fine in generic pastel taupes but anything with a bit of character (I was looking for a navy- came out green, paid 90 quid) and you are taking a chance.

For RAL on smartphone, check out:

Right next to MRCB is Farrow and Ball who provide an excellent colour matching service but like anything else in life, you pay for this excellence. Their paint is superior also.
