Thinking of buying Xperia Arc S

I'm thinking of buying a new smartphone for the next 2-3 years (i'm not on contract). I have nokia xpress music 5800 which I bought 2 years ago and it is simply lagging behind my daily needs.

I've done some research and I am dead set on the arc s because it seems to offer value for money. I know its not dual-core and now even quad-core phones are rumoured to come out soon but with 1.4Ghz single core it should do (mainly thanks to the price being around 150 euros cheaper than good 1.0 Ghz dualcore phones).

My only problem is that the CES is coming up and apparently SE is planning to launch the Nozomi there. I would have to buy the phone next week or the week after pretty much because I am leaving the country soon and so I wonder whether the possible announcement of the Nozomi would decrease the price of Arc S straight away? What do you guys think?

Also any suggestion or advice on arc s would be appreciated too!

I have the arc s now with a few months and couldn't recommend it highly enough. If you want my opinion you'd lose a fortune if you were to keep in with the latest phones and they nearly all look like iphone rip-offs anyway, Whereas the arc s stands out and just looks the business. It can handle anything i get from the market, The camera is excellent on both photos and video. GET THE PHONE!!!
