Thinking about upgrading my Apple TV ver1 to ver 2 to use airplay etc but I have read bad stories about poor movie rental streaming performance with Apple TV2.

For this that use one what has been your experience and what ISP/speed are you using?

    Is it worth upgrading?

    Speedtest 20Mbps. UPC.

Love Apple TV 2. Well worth it.

25mbps UPC broadband. No problem streaming HD rentals from Apple they seem to download quicker than I can watch them. 5GHz wireless N network so no problems streaming HD content from my Mac either.

I have 4Mbps irish broadband wireless and run a wireless N network in the house. Will that be enough assuming I allow some time for buffering beforehand?
Any idea how long I would need to allow?
