Domain Forwarding/ redirecting

    hi everyone
    I have a Site, lets call it www.mysite.com
    and its going good, i like to expand my buisness to different citys and parts of ireland.
    question is:
    can i buy multible Domain names to gane some advantage in the search results, like example
    www.mysite-waterford.com,
    www.mysite-carlow.com
    and redirect them directly to www.mysite.com.
    i know its possible, but is it ok with google us well???
    or goolge doesnt like that???
