samsung galaxy s2 upgrade

    Hi folks.
    I have a galaxy s2 thats from the vodafone network running on gingerbread 2.3.3. The phone is rooted I bought it this way. I have it on the three network because of the all you can eat data. What I would like to do is upgarde the firmware to the latest possible and maybe get it onto three's stock firmware so I can do without the root. Is this possible? Also is ics available yet for this phone?
    Has anyone got a simple to follow guide how to do any of this?

    You will need to register with the site (just email and choose a password)

    Read the Flashguide and download whichever firmware you think. You will also need to download Odin (Multiloader) Most recent one from Three Ireland is 2.3.5 (October 2011), but I'm not really sure why you want you're carrier's firmware, they usually just add rubbish to Samsung's version. I would suggest trying the most recent Stable 'Open Europe' one which is 2.3.6 from December 2011.

    Can't say I have personally tried either as I tend to use custom ROMs rather than these leaked official Samsung ROMs
