Irish fans should make displeasure known re Henri

Irish fans at Arsenal matches should let Henri know what they think of him. I don't expect Irish Arsenal fans to agree. Both Evra and Henri both come from the same suburb of Paris and you've only got to see Evra using the N word to realise that these fellows speak from both sides of their mouths simultaneously

I was in Paris that night.

Do I blame Henry? Not one bit, if Robbie had done the same he be legend.

I blame the ref and linesman for bottling the decision, but more importantly I blame FIFA for being the langers they are.

    Yeah, Im totally confused???

I have made the point that I believe this transfer is demonstrative of the continued demise of Arsenal, and the lack of foresight on the part of Wenger. But what you are saying is incoherent drivel, containing some rather irrelevant points.

6 days into 2012 and we have an award nomination already for most idiotic thread op of the year.

I won't be going to any Arsenal matches. But I'm still very pissed off about the whole incident so I'll give Paul McShane a piece of my mind the next time I see him.

That's true, i also blame paul mcshane for letting henry in behind him he should have booted the ball out of play irrelavant of whether henry handled the ball or not.
even if henry hadn't done it we still had to win penalties

True, although tbf I suppose in McShane defense he did not think Henry was going handle the ball either, but see what you mean.

I was just relieved we never got a replay.

For years the irish used to laugh about england harping on about maradonna and the hand of god, look at us now. LET IT GO:mad:

Why should they? I'm not an Arsenal fan but I can recognise that Henry is probably the best player to ever play in the premier league and it is great to see him back. I hold him in high regard. Some people need to get over things

Much easier said than done. If you can evidence everything that McShane saw and was aware of, then we can make assertions as to what he should have done.

Henry handled the ball TWICE. He took two morally reprehensible decisions, however, the second was the icing on the cake.

I totally agree that we would still have needed to have won on penalties, but if Henry had not handled the ball, we would have still been given the opportunity to take those penos.

So in your estimation, it is alright for Evra to call other players N****** but then he can cause a major fuss over being called one himself?
Methinks you are slightly deluded by your self image

If I met Henry now I'd shake his hand. Forgive and forget, that's what I say. He's a classy player and a classy person imo and I'm a Utd fan

Sure I hated him at the time and for a time afterwards, but you've got to let go, it's not like he raped Mary McAleese.

Saying that he deserves all the standard football abuse when playing (within reason of course, just a bit of stick) and if you want to chant clever handball songs at him, then by all means do so. But less of the bile, it makes us look like tools.

Who do you support anyway OP?

Who knows France may have even scored on the next attack had he not done it, two and a bit years on we have qualified for a major championship so I think the majority of us are over this.
