Garage for Engineers Report in Dublin

    Just bought a T25 need an engineers report for the insurance
    My normal garage isn't SIMI register or a main dealer.

    Would some recommend a garage please.
    I'm based in Harolds cross but will travel for someone reliable.

    I know I can just search here:
    http://www.simi.ie/memberSearch.aspx
    but I would feel more comforatble with a recommendataion

    Went back through the threads a bit and found this by a previous poster:

    "If it's an engineers report any SIMI registered garage can do it... I'd recommend C&F Motors in Mount Merrion. Didn't get an engineers report off them but they done a good bit of work on the van - highly recommended!"

    So I gave them a bell and they didn't want to do it.
    Seemed a bit odd, can anyone else recommend a garage.

    Not from Dublin no. I got mine done in Sligo alright, but it was after a few places telling me that they didn't want to do it either. A simi registered authorised DOE center wouldn't do it for me.
