So im on my first day off in over 3 weeks(was working over christmas).
What would you do?

See a movie, meet a friend or family member for lunch, have a nice dinner somewhere, meet some friends for pints, meet someone nice of whatever gender you're attracted to, make them laugh, rock their world, sleep like a baby, wake up tomorrow feeling great.

couple of problems with that idea.

1. lack of sun.... its winter and its ireland - see the problem there?
2. most of his friends are likely skint if on the dole OR at work if not on the dole so pints are probably out.
3. lunch or dinner is possible though
4. not many movies on during the day that arent for kids.


something he could do is tidy the house, go for some exercise (gym, swim, cycle walk the dog, or jog), he could pull his plum for the day watching cheesy russian porn, he could play computer games, he could also have a go at starting a new hobby.... stamp collecting or model trains or something like that. he could also read a good book or be brave and try write a book.

Lovely day where I am, nice and sunny, not sure how you imagine you know his friend's employments status, I said pints later in the day, where I am there are plenty of grown-up movies to chose from in the gap between lunch and dinner and if I had to watch a kids movie, well, Up, Toy Story, Bolt and Wall-E were all "kids" movies I'd happily sit through again and again.
