    Hi,
I am considering the 6 month smiles braces. I would like to know if anyone could recommend a place in Cork providing the 6-month braces / smiles treatment. I have looked up a number of places providing the treatment but what I want is a recommendation or indeed an "avoid" if someone has had a bad experience.

Ideally I would like to know of a place that more than just the 6 month braces treatments. Maybe Invisalign and regular braces as well.. I know that 6 month braces are not suitable for everyone and my big fear would be that if a clinic is only offering the 6 month braces option they will probably tell me that I'm a suitable candidate regardless of whether I am or not.

    Thanks!
    Sophie

    hi Sophie

I dont know any place that just offers "6 month braces" but there are many specialist orthodontists in the Cork area. Look up www.orthodontics.ie for a list

They are specialists and will be able to give you all the options, 6 months included, and you can take it from there

    good luck

If you want to go "to the dentist with a feeling of total Trust and Comfort"
why not go to a qualified orthodontist instead where the orthodontic fees for short term orthodontics start for a lot less then the 3,000 to 5,000, quoted by the Cork general dentist on his website. And he/she will give you unbiased advice as to what is the best treatment for you.
    There's an old Chinese proverb : :

“He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool...shun him.
He who knows not and knows that he knows not is willing...teach him.
He who knows and knows not that he knows is asleep...awaken him.
He who knows and knows that he knows is wise...follow him.”

    Perhaps the 1st line applies.
