Insulating above a bay window

Apologies if this is a stupid question, just looking for some advice before I go ahead.

I had the attic re-insulated a year or two ago, covered the whole area I thought, was up there the other day and saw that the area above the bay window was not insulated at all.
It's very hard to get to, maybe that's why, the guy doing the job could have missed it/ been lazy, or is there any reason why the area above a bay window should not be insulated?

This particular bedroom is the hardest to heat, and the radiator is also below the window so I'm guessing a large amount of hear is escaping directly into the attic.

I was going to get a couple of rolls on insulation in B&Q and throw it up there, any reason why I shouldn't?

When I built my house 2 years ago, my "builder" (brother in law) stressed about the importance of insulating above the bay window. We used Kingspan foil backed insulation, cut it to shape and fixed it in place. I would recommend this ahead of loose fibreglass insulation if you can get it in place.

Thanks, just shows the amount of cowboys operating in the area.
These guys were "insulation specialists", I'd probably have to question the job they did on pumping beads into the cavity wall as well now....
