Anyone got a travel set up?

Going to be working in the uk during the weeks and dont want to be looking at the walls during the evenings.

What im looking for is something maybe 10in to 15in screen so i can plug it into the ps3.
Easy to carry being the key.

Maybe a tablet with hdmi INPUT or just a tablet tv if there is such a thing.
Not sure if the 10in tablets are a bit small tho

This is what i was thinking.
    Screen
    Hdmi
    Ps3
    Ps3 7.1 headset
    Mobile top up wifi broadband
    Portable Hdd

    Anyone got any ideas?

I don't think there are any tablets that can have HDMI input.

If you have a ok sized screen on a laptop you could get a HDMI video capture usb device, price tends to be more than getting a new screen and probably larger screen.

Have you thought about getting a small projector, projecting on to a wall would not be ideal but the portability would be excellent. prize can get very high very easily and would depend on what you wanted from it and how portable or the quality if you wanted to used it at home.

Also you can't get game sound out over USB over voice chat and most displays no matter what you get (tv/display/projector) won't help. You'll need one of the better headsets with optical audio in.

    Cheers.
I seen a few no name and the toshiba with an actual hdmi but cant find any info if they are input.

I kinda want to leave all the home equipment at home incase it did get broken.

The headset would be fine, have one already and works perfect.

Seen a few top of the range portable tvs tonight on google but there huge money.

The sony goggles would be perfect but there way too expensive and the ITV googles are ment to be crap.

Something like this might even do the trick, :D

The Lg was 700 dollars on amazon and 700 odd euro on ebay.
I might condenser to include it in my home set up at some time if i could figure out how to hook it up to the surround sound via optic cable.

    But came across this site.
This would be perfect for traveling and cheaper.

Normally you would not connect a projector to your sound system, the ps3 has a optical audio port and that would connect directly to the surround system. New receivers would have HDMI and you would have them connected up between the projector and the PS3.

Took me a while to cop on the the surround sound isn't plugged into the tv and wouldn't need to be in the projector just the hdmi with a splitter for Xbox and ps3.

Travel set up sorted and home set up figured out.
Sitting looking kinda cool now with the double set up and can run them at the same time.

Set up 1 is tv, stand, sky and .saorview for herself.

Set up 2 is ps3, Xbox and surround.
    Media through the Xbox,
Gaming through the ps3 & xbox.
And the headsets there when I need it.

Have a 10 foot wide wall to use so il test the aaa m2 on it 1st to see if I like it before buying the expense one. It's 4:3 so will be different.

I was looking at screens but il be painting the room soon so il keep that wall smooth with white and the rest a textured colour.

Cheers lad, think it'll come together nicely.

You could use this if you could get your hands on one:

I have never seen reviews of how good or bad it is but its an idea.Looks pretty cool anyway.

Getting a projector screen would a good idea, i'd rather spend less on a projector and get a screen than buy a more expensive projector to use on the wall.

Thats cute, but the projector is the way to go.

Had a look at screens and there not that dear on pixmania, il try the wall first and see.
If the wall is not suitable, il get a scrren once i figure out what size to get.

it'll probably look good on a white wall but that still won't compare to using a screen.
