Just wondering what size chimney breast people think I should be looking at for new build. Builder will go with standard and have not picked out a stove yet but would like to go down the lines of the stove and surround in attachment. My sitting room is roughly 4.7m x 4.8m and ceilings are 8.5ft. so I feel I may have the room to go bit wider than standard (maybe 6ft?)

    Advice/opinion welcome

    Regards
