    http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/11167774/art/sony/vaio-vpcej2b1eb-cek-black.html#pix-review

It'll be used mainly for streaming sports, general web browsing, work on Microsoft Office, storing music and playing a bit of Football Manager now and again.

The reason I like Sony Vaio is because my current laptop is a Vaio and has been on almost 24/7 for the last 3 years and I haven't had a bit of trouble with it.

Any advice, thoughts, etc on the above would be gratefully appreciated.

If there's anything else that you would recommend between €500-€700, preferably Sony Vaio but I'm open to other suggestions, then that would be great.

    Thanks.

What's the story with leaving it on 24/7???? Nothing spectacular with 3 years either.

GPU is barely better than integrated Intel on that Sony.

    One from this Thread.
    Asus €675
    Asus €679
    Samsung €699
***Bit of a budget breaker but.....***
Lenovo €736<---->This one!smile.gif i5, 17inch, 8GB RAM, Decent Graphics (CPU and RAM do most of the work anyway)

It gets a lot of use, I don't mean it's literally on 24/7 but from the minute I'm up until the minute it goes to bed it's on for various reasons.

Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated.
