    Nice car, nice find. :)

I'd feel safer paying 16k+ for a 35-year-old Renault serviced by Mike and Edd than for 35-week-old one serviced down the road.

If I had the money, I'd buy it!

Its an unusual car, and I like it because of that!!

    Smashing car, alright.

Though the silver looks a bit insipid compared to les bleu cars.

"Common" and "Alpines" doesn't really go together in my book!

    Nice find!

That's a lot of money though, maybe the first car ever that wheeler dealers make an actual profit on? :D

    Looking forward to the episode...

They made a fair wedge on some stuff lately, the DeLorean and Chevy pick-up spring to mind

There's a guy who works in a building in Harolds Cross (The same estate that Lofty Farrell operates out of for those who know him) who has one of these.

I was in the rehearsal studio across the road one night and when I came out it was parked up beside the Supra. I had a right conversation with the owner, he reckoned there was only 2 in the country.

Really cool looking car IMO, if I had the wedge i'd be after it!

Are you supposed to take your shoes off before you get in? Can't imagine that interior staying that way for long.

Judging by the list of work done to the car poor Ed must have been flat to the mat. Looking forward to the new series, the American series was fairly good even if brewer can be a bit loud at times in saying that though I doubt it'd have the same effect if someone else was presenting.

Have to agree with that, fairly poor effort on the pictures, I guess putting cars on the shiney spinning display is a bit too much effort

Did a bit of searching & found some more:

1969 Karmann Ghia Convertible £12750, no pics
    www.volkswagenforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6955

An old add for a VW/Porsche 914 Targa, £8250, sold.
    www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1974-Porsche-914-Targa-sale-/260901537522

    & a tasty 2000 BMW E39 M5 with 430bhp for £6500

Lovely car. Been on my wish list for a good while, but there's a fixer-upper just as appealing available in Germany for quite a few grand less:

17 g seems a bit steep allright and the German car dosn't have 10 grand worth of fixing up! lovely cat tho I'd like to have one someday before the appreciate too much.

I'd give my right testicle for that blue Dino.

Crazy, crazy money for that, but then all G-Wagons are stupidly priced, the SWB can be uncomfortable too. I can only hope Mercedes sorted out the rust issues with the 90's models beacsue the 80's ones melted on touch with salt and water.

Have to say though, I like the reg plate, I wonder how much extra they had to fork out for that?
