    anyone know of any brick and mortar stores that stock these cables? was hoping to get one before the weekend but looks like i may have to resign to ordering online

    Where do you live! CompuB have a few stores around the country and PC World have Apple sections.

    You should always buy cables online anyway, to avoid the 500%+ mark-up that shops put in.

    Couldn't find a USB cable in town for less than a tenner; bought one on eBay for €1.50 and it arrived in 3-4 days.

    We're talking about Apple here. The company that sells Thunderbolt cables for €50........ :rolleyes:
