Ideally I'd like to fly from Cork but would compromise on this if somewhere sounded really amazing. We're thinking of Barcelona, Venice or Milan maybe. Switzerland --- loads of pretty cities on lakes surrounded by mountains. All the outdoor activities you could want plus spectacular scenery, shopping and culture.
