Chromium Settings Question

I have recently begun to use Chromium when visiting Boards.

I noticed in the last couple of days, when I attempted to edit a post of mine, that it just hung ...... spinning wheels!

I can open Firefox at the same time and edit the same post to my hearts content.

    Any comments on this?

Is there some setting in Chromium which might be affecting things?

I have only one Extension installed which I disabled to make sure it was not that .... AdBlock.

    Slightly puzzled .....

Im currently using Chromium with ad block and not experiencing any problems. =/ seems odd alright.

Nothing else different with your install? How long have you been using it?

I have been using Chromium only a short time ..... but the install is many months old ...... reinstalled on updated hardware.

The only oddity is the edit of posts here ..... no problems on other forums/fora ( :) ) ..... I guess I can always use FF if I need to edit a post :D

For boards I have no issues with Chromium - been using it a good while. With Adblock also. Have edited posts recently too.

I do have issues with some other sites, however I have a feeling they are the fault of the website.

e.g. I can't log into MDSN via Chromium. There's 2 or 3 other websites I've had issues with too but can't remember which.

Are you in work or home? Proxy?

Home, no proxy, through NAT router to internet.

I think I will try deleting renaming the settings directory and see what happens when it is recreated.

There may be some error in a config file or somesuch ...

Thanks all for letting me know it is not a general problem with Chromium and Boards ..... I can now concentrate on the install.

    regards.
