    I suspect that as they were also said to be warm blooded, and possible bird ancestors, it may be more to the point to compare leaping with the ability of birds to leap.

    Just my own thought on the matter, I am not in a position to criticise.

    Except that raptors, unlike birds and like lizards, had a large muscular tail... I don´t think birds would be a good comparison in this case...
