Mid Year Transfer

    Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding transferring from an overseas club, back to my home club in the middle of a playing year. I am currently living in London and plan to join a club here in the next few weeks, but there is also a chance I'll be moving back home before the football year is over. So my question is, if I join the London club and move home mid-year, can I re-join my home club team and play league/championship matches in the same year?

Any help would be much appreciated, cheers.

You can do an inter-county transfer at any point in the year. I think there may be a stipulation where you can't play in two different championships in the same year and this may apply here.
A Player who Transfers to another Club
within a County and who has already played
in a Championship in that given year with his
former Club, may play with his new Club in
    Non-Championship Competition(s), provided
that he has not played with his former Club in
    the exact same Competition(s)
    (7) A Player who Transfers to another Club in a
different County, and has already played in
a Championship in that given year with his
former Club, may play with his new Club in
    Non-Championship Competition(s).
    (8) A Player who Transfers to another Club or
who Declares for his Home Club and who
has already played for his former Club in
a particular Competition, may finish that
Competition and play for his new Club or
Home Club, subject to provisions of Sections
    (6) and (7) above.
