Bright spots (like stars in the sky) appearing on projected image??

one of them was even blinking. Also noticed some blacker looking marks. The stars started out at 3 in bottom left, then over the course of a day there were about 7.

The project is an NEC (only of the lidl ones), have it about a year. Was perfect up to now. Got a good bit of use over Christmas.

Anyone ever seen this before?, is it reversible?, will it continue to deteriorate more? I was wondering was it something as simple as dust, but the "blinking" star got me a bit worried that its more fundamental than that.

Is still usable as is (if a bit annoying), but if continues getting worse it wont be long before really losing usability.

Any experience on this really appreciated. Thanks

Talking to guy who sounded like he knows his stuff and he makes out its the breakdown of a type of filament in the bulb, that the bulbs arent top quality. However on the plus side he said there's only so much of it in the bulb so the display is not likely to get too much worse and if its watchable then drive on, use up the bulb hours.

I gather that with the price of the bulb you'd nearly be as well get a new projector when the time comes.
