Walker TV

    Hi all
    While browsing in local electoral shop came across Walker TV's as seen here http://www.walker.ie/products/WP32MP4.html have been thinking of getting one as RTE go digital in September October time also is an Irish company also for a 32 inch are very reasonable prised.
    Only thing I can find on these TV's here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=76107034
    Anny one any experience or advice would be appreciated.

    If it doesn't say 'Saorview approved' I wouldn't touch it. If you want to do any more research I'd look in the 'Terrestrial' forum....

    The Walker tv's are Saorview approved.

    They're good for the money,one complaint I've heard is that the sound is poor,but not on all tvs

    I just checked the model the OP is quoting and it's mentioned as approved on the Saorview website so it's kosher ok.

    Strange that Walker don't use the Saorview logo on their website considering the likes of Power City have it splashed across all their press ads.

    I thought the same coyle,but they do have the logo on their tvs in store

    I have a 22" Walker, it's grand except for the digital teletext, it is extremely slow.

    As I said I would get back on the subject of Walker TV's so here is how I got on.

    Have waited on suppler to get these TV's in but I think they cannot make them quick enough so gave up.
    Got a Toshiba Regza 32" with Saorview it is a good set like it a lot can be seen here
