Would prices have come down since Christmas?

    VAT went up by 2% if anything i would imagine computers have gone up in price. Christmas sales dont affect computers all that much in my experience (though maybe physical irish shops have dropped pricing a tad, physical shops tend to be fairly overpriced anyways though)

    Well the Vat increase won't affect you if you buy from hardwareversand. I think prices might of actually gone up to be honest. But you might be able to get a nice price on the 7850 which might be better performance than a 6950 so that's one thing and the HDD prices seem to be dropping.
