    Ok, Just wondering.

If i was to work for a company, and rather Than get paid in cash, I was to request Vouchers. (say, for example, One4all Vouchers). whats the story with Income tax? Would i pay any? Would it be of any benefit to the Company to do so?

The vouchers would be subject to standard PAYE and PRSI at the standard rate.

At best, the first single payment of €250 in a given year could be declared as a tax-free gift, but everything else is subject to PAYE.

There is no benefit to the employer for doing this except for a minimal saving of employer's PRSI on that €250. The hassle of getting vouchers would offset that in a week or two.

Edit: That is of course assuming you're PAYE. If you're providing a B2B service to the company, then everything is subject to income tax.
