To be quite honest I dont think its possible to just recommend a set of darts to someone. The best way is to go to a local darts pub and try the different sets of darts the guys are using until you find something you like, then find out the type, or even take a photo and we can recommend places to get them etc.
Darts are very unique to the person so its not a case of one size fits all. I found even holding them in the shop is no good, you really need to throw a few to know if they are right for you.

Definitely agree with Stylie. I have 3 sets and while I use one 90% of the time, sometimes I'm still not sure which of the 3 is best for me. Throw as many different ones as you can and see what type you like. The only thing that could be recommended is not spending a fortune. You can get a half decent set for 15 euros or thereabouts. You can also buy sets of different flight stems and flights to see which one suits your throw best. I did it a few months ago and I think I'm throwing better now because of it.

And remember it's not just the dart you need to think about, it's also the length and style of the stem as well as the countless different type of flights available.

Good luck with the search but if you're only starting out I wouldn't be too worried with your setup for the moment. Just concentrate on learning to throw the darts straight!
