When the weather improves im thinking about picking up golf.

Obviously im not going to go out and buy a full set of clubs so what clubs do i need to get me started and will do me for a round of 18.

.. How how much should i expect to pay for said clubs.

Look on adverts, to be honest you will pick up a full second hand set of clubs for under 100 euro so theres no real point in buying a few single clbus here and there? You will get in that set a driver, a wood/hybrid, set of irons, 1 or 2 wedges and a putter

OP I bought a good 2nd hand set from a friend for 200 which included all irons, putter, plus a fairly rubbish driver which he threw in for nothing. These are Callaway Big Bertha irons, with hardly a mark on them. He sold them because he injured his elbow and was told that graphite shafts would help his game. His injury certainly helped my game.

I cant comment on the quality of the clubs but for the money its not bad for starting off.. if you find golf is the game for you, you can always upgrade

    40 bucks for a set!
its not me selling so dunno what their like but at the money you cant go far wrong,
pick up an old big bertha driver somewhere 2nd hand for about 50 or 60 squids (if required) n your fairly set.

at this stage you prob wont have a clue if you swing fast/slow, draw/fade etc etc so worth gettin somethin cheap for a year.

not to mention youll prob warp your clubs off the turf/mats a few times
