GoSafe camera zones on satnav

I made a custom Tomtom point-of-internet file for all the published GoSafe camera locations. The result is a red marker every 100-200 metres when you are inside a zone. See attachments.

The attached ov2 file (inside the zip) is for Tomtom devices. The file needs to be copied into the directory on the satnav device where the other ov2 file are. Something like this: http://www.poieditor.com/articles/how_to_install_pois_on_tomtom/

This is converted from the information on http://www.garda.ie/Controller.aspx?Page=5590 on 06/11/11.

I haven't tried converting it for other formats, but it should be pretty easy. Tested and screenshots from iPhone.

Nice work...expect to get flamed...only problem with this is the falses give a false illusion...

bit like running a radar detector and when you pass every feckin supermarket, petrol station, etc it picks up K band RADAR...after a while you think the van is actually a door opener, until you realise you are on top of the van...I know first hand, believe me!

Why would he get flamed? All the locations are already signposted!

I converted the file to work on a garmin, but out causes the poi loader to crash every time, I'll try to get it to work over the next few days .

If it works with a garmin I'll post it here, if the op has no objection
