    Hi.

A friend is having a problem with windows xp not starting. When they switch on the get to the screen with options for "Safe Mode...", "Last known configuration that worked" and "Start windows normally". Regardless of which option is selected windows boots for 2 - 3 seconds and then reboots every time. I'm going to have a look at it later in the week. Has anyone come across this problem and if so how did you solve it. I've found one or two similar issues online but want to cover all the bases if possible.

    Many thanks.

    Press f8 whilst booting

Disable automatic restart on system failure

Restart PC and take note of stop error on the blue screen

    Good luck
