Just wondering if anybody has one of these lamps....and if so, are they any use?

The five hours between charges definitely beats lugging a battery pack around the field. (I've a Lightforce 170 with home - made battery pack set-up)

Didn't notice any make / manufacturer so wondering if it's any use.

70 pound for a lamp and a lithium battery that gives 5 hours light and and a 500m beam

and by the way you are still lugging a battery around in your hand. id imagine it would get sore fairly fast holding it up.

The lamp only weighs less than half a kg so unless youve a weak arm youl have no problem holding it.:D

Only if it wasn't balanced right it could be uncomfortable to carry but not heavy

If I'm not mistaken I think when I was in my local rfd they told me light force were bringing out there own hand held rechargeable light
