Getting rid of the Christmas tree?

I like to buy a real tree every year as it always seems like a good idea.

Fast forward a few weeks later and it's shedding all over the gaff and I've to get rid of it.

For the past few years we've been allowed to deposit them on the estate green, but they told us that's not an option this year as people are not paying their annual maintenance fees. Recession innit..

I went potty when I heard this as I've always paid my fees, so I felt it was underhanded of the estate council to tell me I couldn't drop my tree over to the green.

I ended up sticking it in the council leaders postbox, angel end first.

The problem is he's on holidays until mid January, so the tree has been stuck in the letterbox for days now and it'll stay there until he's back.

The estate council have started an investigation into who left it and last night they had the gardai down getting fingerprint off the tree.

I'm genuinely worried I might have to do a stretch if I'm done.

    Either way I'm literally gutted.

Xmas decorations aren't supposed to be taken down until the 6th of January in any case. You will end up burning in hell for all eternity for your sin.

The decorations are still up, just not the tree.

My wife is standing there till the 6th covered in christmas lights.

Finally found a use for her.

This isn't directed at you, but why when people dislike a song he\she\it are pounced on going "Ah why, you're just saying that for badness!". No! I just don't like them.

I know if I posted up my own death\brutal metal "tastes" I'd be laughed out of here by people going "You listen to this stuff?".

What was my point? Oh! Yeah. Burn the tree OP. Burn it. Burn it. Burn it. Burn it.

Why didn't you just shove it into the river and let it float out to sea?

You do live under a bridge after all.

Aw..........that would be a good song title actually! Although we wouldn't understand a word of the lyrics as it's sung guttural, pig-vocal style.

OP? Burn it. Burn it. Burn it!

How do you fingerprint a tree? Is it made of glass?

If you have a fire in your house, chop it up and burn it, simples.
